Editorial policy
Local Community Press aims to make community resourcefulness understandable without overstating what an idea can do. We seek clear, fair wording and take responsibility for correcting errors.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, descriptions and factual statements before publication and write so readers can tell explanation from opinion. Where a subject varies by place or circumstance, we say so rather than imply one approach fits every community. We do not present an unverified claim as established fact.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers and the publication's stated subject, not in exchange for payment or favourable treatment. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage, and commercial arrangements do not determine our conclusions.
Corrections
If you believe an article contains an error, contact Local Community Press through the Contact page and identify the passage and the issue. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the article clearly and explain material corrections.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are clearly labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial work. Illustrations may be AI-generated; when an illustration is AI-generated, we identify it as such and do not present it as documentary evidence.
